After the light had gone,we all missed the sun.

The twilight time was here, just moon and morning star

showed in the rose pink sky, lit bright from rim to rim.

The west aglow with sunset, glory to amaze us yet.

A promise of tomorrow bright, blue and gold, clear light.

Now comes the night, denying us sight,

Leafless trees hiding their skeletal bark,

Silent shapes vanishing in the Dimpsey Dark.
