Dont believe in any investment that seems to be too good to be true.

I got conned with one offering 8 per cent return. They lied that it was government backed. 3% is a maximum likely safe return on your money.

The banks cheated us with Electronic payments. They are too easy to steal. We should go back to cheques !

Its hard to be scammed out of the cash in your hand !

Avoid direct debits where you can. I pay my water bill by cheque every 3 months. It much easier to understand the bills.

I pay my food bills in cash, shop at local shops, like the Supermarket, Fruit shop, and use charity shops where I can.

Great Idea ***

Set up a seperate E mail account, and use it for a contact address for a new contact or firm that you want to investigate using. This way they will not have your main contact address and be able to scam you easily. Use a simple, different password for this !
